SSC CGL 2016 Revised Exam Scheme ssc.nic.in
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2016 Revised Exam Scheme with many changes. SSC is going to conduct the SSC CGL 2016 written exam will be held on 27th August, 2016 at various exam centers. Large numbers of applicants were applied for this SSC CGL 2016 Recruitment on or before closing date. These changes are also come into the SSC CGL 2016 official notification. The main changes includes reducing the questions from 200 to 100, increasing the negative marks, introduce descriptive paper and change mode of exam offline to online and finally increasing the exam time. Here we are providing the details of the new exam scheme steps wise.
- Questions reduced from 200 to 100.
- 50 marks will be negative marking.
- No OMR Sheet, only computer.
- Newly introduced descriptive paper.
- No sectional cut off marks.
- Tier 1 exam will be scheduled to August, 2016.
- Time duration will be increased to 15 minutes for Tier I exam.
In previous, Tier 1 exam consists 4 sections named as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each section carries 50 questions. There are total 200 questions for 100 marks. In Revised Exam Pattern, as usual 4 sections are there and each section carries 25 marks for 100 marks. Each question carries 2 marks.

In this new exam scheme only tier 1 exam changed, remaining tier II and Tier 3 are same. It is a big advantage to the candidates as there is no sectional cut off marks in tier I. The candidates will need to qualify in all tiers separately.
